About the event
On 19 March, from 2-3:20pm, we are officially launching our Manifesto for Equitable Healthcare.
In what is highly likely to be an election year, we will discuss the political landscape and what it means for people accessing health and care services, particularly people with long term conditions and disability, and those experiencing health inequalities.
Our event will open with a presentation from Helen Hassell, who will discuss what real people need and want in this election year. Helen is one of National Voices’ Lived Experience Partners. She is also a parent carer, an active member of the My Life Choices co-production group with Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board and a member of the NHS Assembly since it was founded in 2019.
We are also delighted to be joined by Anna Quigley, Research Director at IPSOS UK, who will speak about how the political landscape looks right now, and the health and care issues of concern for both voters and politicians.
Jacob Lant, Chief Executive of National Voices, will discuss the three general election priorities put forth in our manifesto, why we have chosen them and how they are being received by our stakeholders.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions to Helen, Anna and Jacob at the end of the session, so be ready with your questions on the day or feel free to submit your questions when you register.
