NSUN is a membership organisation and a network of grassroots, community mental health groups and people who have lived experience of mental distress, ill-health and trauma.

NSUN connects, supports, and amplifies the voices and work of the 5,000+ individuals and user-led groups that make up the organisation’s membership. As a user-led organisation, all of NSUN’s staff members and trustees have lived experience. The organisation works to redistribute power and resource in mental health, sharing knowledge, creating collaborative spaces, building an alternative approach to mental health policy work, and working with funders.
