National Voices welcomes new trustees to the board
Following a successful recruitment period, National Voices is delighted to announce that they are welcoming new trustees to their board.
Eligible National Voices members voted in a ballot, selecting trustees they would like to represent them, thus ensuring members’ voices are heard at the highest level of National Voices decision making. The newly elected trustees are Clare Woodford from Macmillan Cancer Support, Ezra Ben-Yisrael from Turning Point and Maggie Gilbert from Better Living CIO.
Additionally, Noha Al Afifi from Arthritis Action has been re-elected by our members.
Simultaneously, National Voices ran a process allowing people to apply for a place on the board. Kalu Obuka and Sherone Phillips are both newly appointed.
Over the next few weeks, the newest members of the board will each write a blog about their motivations, experiences and hopes going forward as they help National Voices make what matters to people matter in health and care. Visit the Board of Trustees page on the National Voices website to read more about the people that make up the National Voices board.
